1. Eric turned the “family” as a gift to her. They can think what they want but honestly, he promised to put the world at her feet and he has- with time enough for them to spend almost a century together doing whatever and whoever they want.

1. She knows Eric’s infatuation/love with Sookie will end badly, and she has a sneaking suspicion she’ll lose him to it. He chose her over their century together, over everything he had built. Throw in the Fairy element, and the fact Sophie-Ann almost destroyed herself over that bitch she knows it’ll end in pain and that’s the best case scenario. She saw what Godric’s death did to Eric; she’s not strong enough to withstand it. …and perhaps more telling? Because Eric wants it so badly, Pam wants it for him.

2. She tolerates Jessica and Hoyt more then she cares to admit. Although Jessica doesn’t remind her anything of what she was like as “kid,” there is something endearing about her journey. Ditto for Lafayette but only because he does remind her of herself as a human.

3. She’s a twin, and her and Eric’s home (even to her own ears ‘nest’ sounds too…removed) is up East. She rather enjoys being cold and heartless, so just how human she feels when she’s with family makes her incredibly uncomfortable. If she thought about it, she would probably be able to dismiss it as getting a baby brother so soon after being turned herself. She does however, suffer from homesickness, and Eric can usually sense it. Bastard. He’s kind enough to ignore it. Most of the time.

4. She fell in love once. It ended badly. Just how much that wounded is none of your damn concern.

5. The idea of being a maker fills her with dread. Not because she is incapable of it, or even adverse to it but because she wants a child worthy of her bloodline. Once more, becoming a maker would make her a little more removed from Eric. She hasn’t left him for a reason and it actually has nothing to do with her own fears.
